ACCESSIBILITY
Our commitment to making CreativeIP.org accessible to all users.
1. Our commitment
Creative Intellectual Property Charity is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
2. Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
3. Measures taken
We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML throughout the Site for proper screen reader support
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios between text and background
- Keyboard navigation support across all interactive elements
- Alt text for meaningful images
- Properly labelled form fields and controls
- Logical heading hierarchy on all pages
- Responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes
- Focus indicators on interactive elements
4. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following limitations:
- Some interactive tools (self-assessment widget, radar chart) may have limited screen reader support — we are working to improve this
- PDF documents linked from the Site may not be fully accessible — we aim to provide HTML alternatives where possible
5. Feedback
